Medically Assisted Outpatient for Youth
The California Youth Opioid Response (YOR California) funded by a Joint Effort by the California Institute for Behavioral Health Solutions and Advocates for Human Potential, Inc. and funded by the California Department of Health Care Services Division was granted to The Teen Project to support a continuum of accessible and effective youth-specific services. With this goal in mind, YOR California is aimed at preventing and reducing opioid overdose deaths and opioid use disorders (OUD) among youth (ages 15–24) through our community
The Teen Project Outpatient is located in Rancho Santa Margarita and provides access to prevention, intervention and Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) to youth addicted to opioids, as well as other treatment and recovery services for youth and their families.
These solutions include access to early interventions, MAT, relevant peer and recovery systems and are based in positive youth development, and involve community partnerships. The outpatient program provides individual and group therapy on a weekly basis to all participants.
YOR California encourages the development of new partnerships between the systems that influence/affect/impact youth.
During COVID-19, the outpatient services are available online through zoom.
